2. Delivery: The sedative is administered intravenously, allowing for quick onset and precise control. Patients remain awake but deeply relaxed, responsive to commands, and comfortable throughout the procedure.
3. Time: The duration of sedation is case-dependent but typically lasts between 2 to 3 hours, depending on the complexity of the dental treatment.
4. Transportation: Due to the lingering effects of sedation, patients cannot drive themselves home after the procedure. It’s essential to arrange for a responsible adult to provide transportation and accompany the patient until the sedative effects wear off.

4. Transportation: Upon completion of your dental treatment the gas will take 3-5 minutes to be eliminated from your body, meaning you are able to drive home safely.
